Best of Irish Comedy
The best of Irish follows the time-honored practice of a M.C. and a couple of acts Time honored maybe, but the practice works so why even think about changing it?
Our M.C. was Michael Moore, very distinguishable by his luxuriant beard and his sharp incisive wit.
The opening act was the incredibly funny Karl Spain who entertained the massive audience for the entire set. Karl is playing at GB Caves at 21.50 pm until 30th and it would be well worthwhile checking out his entire set.
The headline act was foe me a treat, the totally amazing Owen O'Neill returning to his stand-p roots as well as being a luvvy in One Flew over the Cuckoo's nest and doing his own show, Finding Mick Jagger at the Traverse Theatre at 21-45 until 28th. The wealth of the stories he told had the crowd in stitches.
This is a show where the line up changes regularly so who knows who will be performing for you, but there's no doubt, if it is even nearly as good as the one I saw you will not be disappointed.
