It
has been a tradition for sometime that the St. Georges Medics
Revue, a group of medical students play a very short season during
the Fringe and I have made it a tradition of mine to attend.
They
have an established routine of performing a fast paced, generally
funny, medical based revue and this year is no exception. The
eight strong cast at times rush around to set up the next sketch
at a rate that left me feeling tired just sitting there watching.
One
would have difficulty picking out a 'best bit', as it was all very
good, but I really liked the way they actually developed their
running gag routines, different and clever.
The
medical profession have turned out some fine comics in the past,
Graeme Garden, Jonathon Miller, Harry Hill and Phil Hammond are
just a few examples, Who would bet against some of this troupe
joining them. Not me!
