Dara O'Briain
Dara O'Briain is certainly not the smallest comedian on the comedy circuit, and he is certainly not the smallest in talent either.
He is a genuinely funny man who knows how to play his audience as a virtuoso plays their violin. His personality flows from the stage to engulf the packed house and although he banters with the audience, he is certainly not threatening in anyway.
A large chunk of the show I saw majored on the difference between Catholics and Protestants in respect to a 'mixed' wedding he attended recently, and he had this crowd in stitches with his keen observational humour.
His TV appearances on Have I got News for You have raised his profile recently, but with talent to back this up he can only be assured for even more success than he currently enjoys.
