After
several years of seeing Boothby Graffoe, Geoff finally relented
and let me go. I'm so glad he did he might have to fight over him
in the future. I love musicians who tell jokes, or is it comedians
who play music, actually I don’t know what it is but I love what
he does. As for the following men they are a backing band
incorporating John, Toby and Queen (well it sounded like Queen).
Boothby
has a rubber mouth, fingers and thumb, which seem to take on lives
of their own. I'm not sure if he has a script to work from but he
seems to keep jumping from place to place, not too hard to follow
it a little mesmerising at times.
I've always had a soft spot for guitar players and he plays
beautifully (I could sit and watch and listen to that all night),
but the clever and amusing words make it even more fun. I
particularly like 'Bungee Girl' and 'Baseball Playing Spider' even
if I was on Toby's side and not Boothby's
I
was laughing from start to finish and it finished far too soon.
