Unsupervised Detention consists of two guys, Dan Woods and Donald Newholm, and two girls. Sophie Brooke and Alex Bothwell. They perform a whole bundle of funny sketches and a handful of comedy songs.

The show opens with the cast dressed in school uniform. They are required to do detention after committing various misdemeanors. A background tape from several members of the school staff set out the ideas for the sketch routines that follow. These tend to be in the Monty Python style of silliness, for instance a dog being interviewed for an airport security job.

The most developed and humorous sketch appears near the end of the show and features all four performers. It depicts a facile theatre director being interviewed with examples of scenes from his best known productions.

A pleasing show with a good blend of well performed humour.
