This show it appears is in fact a lecture, albeit a comedy lecture, by Dr Rosie Wilby, and our host is dressed for the part, complete with white coat as well!!

She is also armed with a whole host of facts, a white board and numerous visual aids in her attempt to educate the packet house into the mysteries of sex and ‘lerve.’

Ms Wilby has a pleasing manner and so good, not all great, material, however for me she tried to be all embracing of the subject, so tended to linger only briefly on subjects where there was more scope for her to expand on the subject and use her undoubted comedy talent to garner more laughs than she got.

That is not to say I didn’t enjoy the show ‘cause I did, and I would guess most of the audience did too. I just felt she somewhat undersold herself and in doing so devalued her show ever so slightly.

Next time Rosie, a narrower topic and more in depth exploration and it would be even better.
