Otis Lee Crenshaw 

Since I started going to the Fringe Rich Hall and his alter ego Otis Lee Crenshaw have been round and about, we even got on nodding terms, it seems strange then that it has taken me 14 years to actually go and see Otis Lee perform. Part of the reason was probably Otis Lee is not usually at every Fringe.

However this year I finally went to see him and had a superb time. Otis Lee has two other band members on stage with him and the music is predominantly country all be it ex-gaol rock and modern improvedy. The musical talents of all three band members are superb and most of the lyrics hilarious. Although Mr Crenshaw comes over as being a hard man there were times you just wanted to give him a hug.

I’m hoping both Otis Lee Crenshaw and Rich Hall are back at the Fringe next year and that I get the chance to see them both.
