Ladies in Waiting Brownie Re-Union

t is twenty five years since Brown Owl Valerie, Gareth Corke (!) got married accompanied by a round a dozen of her  girls as bridesmaids and she is holding a reunion in the old Brownie hut to celebrate the event and to catch up with the girls.

This scenario gives the writers / performers Carolina Giammetta and Charlotte Palmer together with the afore said Mr Corke ample scope to showcase their comedy writing and performing in what is in essence a character driven sketch show.

The girls are now following careers as teachers, shop assistants, police officers, aerobic instructors and more and each short snappy scenario is well directed and performed with some excellent comedy moments.

Okay the concept is not totally novel, but it is slick, funny, professionally presented and a really good way to spend an hour during the late afternoon.
