One
of the better Best Of shows that is on offer during this years
Fringe is Devlin's Daily, basically it is a chat show led hour and a
half where different comedy acts chat with host Bruce Devlin and
promote their shows.
This
is an ideal way for the acts to get a bit of publicity and the
punters to get a preview of some different shows they may want to
see more of.
The
acts on the bill for the show I saw were
Sarah
Millican
Learn
to play the Ukulele in an Hour
Philip
Escoffey Six Impossible Things Before Dinner
Bad
Dog Variety
Paul
Tonkinson
Each
act was entertaining and in spite of the technical gremlins that
seemed to plague this show, certainly not up to the Stand's normal
high standard, Bruce soldiered through. However knowing him as I do,
I could see he was somewhat unhappy with the situation.
