And On Your Left ..... Ruth Bratt

I was aware of Ruth the stand-up comedian, Ruth the Impro performer, but this was the first time I had seen Ruth the comedy actor but this was the artiste in residence for this show.

Ms Bratt led us through a whole gambit of characters during this hour starting a bus tour guide, a Russian cafe owner, the archetype American bitch, the seedy male shop owner, a WI type cake baking lady and finally Pete the Pirate. Each caricature is well observed, written and performed and she made each believable within seconds.

Ruth is certainly a very talented performer and with a show like this on offer it would be a sin to miss it.
