Vivien
Harcourt and Fizz Weatherall share a flat. Viv is as dark and dismal
as Fizz is blond and bouncy. Fizz desires love, stardom and a shot
at the West End. Viv wants nothing less than the Man Booker Prize
for fiction. Despite living with a whirlwind full of fun it just
doesn’t rub off on Viv, or dos it?
The main story running through this show is
the contrast of the friends lives. This is further demonstrated by
glimpses of these two throughout history. The Parliamentarian Viv
and Royalist Fizz, Elizabethan witches and others.
This
show is very cleverly written with the stark contrast between the
two characters promoted at every turn, the differences accentuated
by contrasting clothes and movements. Each performer left me
wondering if this is what we would get from them in normal life?
This
sample of life is a great way of spending an hour.
