Trumptonshire Tales

Most children of a certain age will have grown up with the voice of Brian Cant, whether through Play School, Camberwick Green (1966), Trumpton (1967), Chigley (1969) or other TV work.  His particular vocals are part of hundreds if not thousands of grownups formative years.

When given the chance to see Brian cant and hear him talking about Trumptonshire along with Phil Jupitus I jumped at the chance, as had many others. Phil obviously a fan of the shows takes great delight in asking Brian all about his career and these shows in particular. He also introduces filmed clips of Gordon Murray the series creator, along with clips and snippets of all three shows.

This audience joined in where ever they could. Especially with my favorite the Trumpton Fire brigade; Pugh, Pugh, Barney McGrew, Cuthbert Dibble and Grub.

For our age group very informative, nostalgic, fascinating and totally self indulgent!
