L uke
Toulson and Steven Harvey are a comedy duo
who were not so long ago nominated for the Perrier Best Newcomer Award
and I am pleased to say they have lost none of their ability since.
Opening
as the pseudo Spanish brothers, Estaban and Raul, traditional
flamenco singing entertainers which
was excellent, the pace seldom dropped as the duo performed a variety
of scenes giving both the chance to showcase their abilities as
performers and writers.
Some
of the material is a little surreal for my particular palate, but
there was plenty that did appeal, and not just to me, these guys had
their busy house with them on virtually every occasion.
Although
the show predicted the beak-up of the partnership, I truely hope,
and I'm sure I speak for the rest of the crowd that this was just the
show, 'cause
they certainly do work so well with each other.
