You might recognise Jason Manford. He’s made the leap onto TV, appearing as
the–one-that-replaced-Dave-Spikey on ‘8 out of 10 Cats’.
If the fact that he’s ‘off the telly’ doesn’t entice
you to see him then the assurance that he’s very, very funny
should.
Playing to a packed Pleasance Two, Manford
ADD’d his way through his act, veering off-topic every time
something in the audience caught his eye.
Having done stand up for 10 years means that Manford’s
ad-libs are just as good as his material.
Like a comedy boxer he hits you with punchline upon punchline.
If it’s value for money your after
Manford won’t disappoint either.
This Saturday night audience was treated to an extra 10
minutes because “Well, it’s £1 more expensive at the
weekends”.
Manford is worth seeing simply for the way
he mixes both pre-planned and unplanned material.
A comedy force to be reckoned with.
