This play is set in the flat of two guys,
Michael a slacker with a lack of social skills and a penchant for TV
and Jonathan his more functional room mate.
Michael has had a small win on the Lottery
and is persuaded to attend a fancy dress party by Jonathan, but
what’s with his costume choice?
The script is peppered with amusing lines,
some are actually quite funny at times but the theme of two guys
sitting chatting on a sofa in a flat has really been done to death
hasn’t it?
With a lot of the time spent with the two
guys sitting down it must have been difficult for those sitting
towards the back to actually see anything given the performance
area, perhaps more thought should have been given to the staging or
the selection of the space in the first place.
There are certainly far worse stuff than
this around, but if you are going get their early to ensure a front
row seat.
