Footlights – Wham Bam

The Cambridge Footlights boast an alumni that is the toast of the comedy world so each year I attend hoping to be in the presence of an addition to this select group, and I suspect many of their audience is doing likewise.

As always this is a rapid fire comedy sketch show with almost twenty sketches within the hour. However for me there was not enough quality material to sustain half of that time.

Given that the performers try their best and just occasionally there is a gem, I feel that most of the audience at the performance shared my opinion as laughs were few and far between and clapping at the end of each sketch non existent.
