Alyssa Kyria: (in)Famous for 5 Minutes!

Alyssa Kyria is a new name to me, and performing a character comedy show for an hour is a bit of an ask for anyone I would have thought, and to do it solo, okay with the occasional assistance of Laura Glover, it was interesting to see how she coped.

Ms Kyra plays a succession of wannabes, some more successfully than others, Tiggy the sloany tennis player, Becky Buckwild the American stripper with a claim to have bedded Prince William are amongst the best, but her piece de resistance is Ariadne the Greek WAG. Given her Mediterranean looks Alyssa is naturally suited to this role and she has invested a lot of time and effort in developing this character given that she appears three times throughout the show.

I think this performer has a lot of potential, and look forward to seeing her again and watching her development, be it back on stage or possibly on TV as there are not too may in her field around currently.
