I have been going to see the Durham Revue
for many years and what is consistent about their performances over
this time is that they always put their heart and soul into their
performances and they seem to have a cult following, every gig
I’ve seen has been almost a sell out.
The six strong troupe are here again and
I’m pleased to report that they are maintaining the standard of
previous years.
Okay, I will admit that a bit of the
material was far to surreal for my tastes, but then I am not of
their age group, and the dermographic of the audience I witnessed
this production with was probably in their early twenties and nearly
all were lapping it all up.
As usual with all revue shows some bits
worked better than others, but if you like your humour a little
wacky, then this could certainly be the show for you.
