Okay so there is a brochure or two out there, but there are also 1800 shows. What do you choose to see?

Well one of the best ideas is to get yourself to a show like this where you get a taster of the fare that is available throughout a number of venues.

The show follows a fairly tried and tested route, a compere to warm up the audience, in the show I saw it was comedian Jeff Innocent who's performing his full show at The Stand, Comedy and Country music from Wilson Dixon at Baby Belly 3, Nick Mohammed, a different sort of comic performing at The Pleasance, The Pursuit of Cardnio at Underbelly, an extract from Lizzie Roper, who is performing Pecadillo Circus at Gilded Balloon Teviot and finally comedian Gordon Southern who is in Moon the Loon also at The Pleasance.

A very diverse bill, which of course changes daily, but will always give an insight to a number of shows to assist your selection.
