Footlights - Niceties

I must admit I have latterly approached each years Footlights offering with a sense of apprehension, because in spite of their heritage of producing hugely talented people for me anyway some of the shows have been far short of the standard required and surreal to the extreme.

This years offering was more a back to basics approach with a sketch show featuring a variety of subjects including dinosaurs, teachers, family photos, Wembley stadium and the hot topic this year, Blogging.

As with all sketch shows some work better than others, and there was still room for the odd bit of surreality, but for this reviewer it was a far more enjoyable experience than last years. And are there any stars of the future in the current cast? Only time will tell.
