Charlie Pickering - Auto

Charlie Pickering first crossed my comedy radar at Fringe 2005 when I saw him in a showcase and thought the guy had definite talent. Those French Mineral water people agreed and he was nominated for the Best Newcomer Award, so I was obviously not alone in my opinion.
Charlie this year is attempting to write his autobiography live on stage, well if Gerri Halliwell can write two, surely he can too!
With his inspiration of the BB King autobiography, that he also reads extracts from, this Aussie funster lets us the audience into some of his early life, the family dog called Hoodah, his school and summer camp experiences the job of being MC at his sisters wedding and the first time he told a joke during school speech day.
To most of his packed audience, the hour ended far too soon, in fact for me at least another hour would not have been enough.
I'm really looking forward to his next show, and would thoroughly recommend that you book a ticket, 'cause I'm sure he is a superstar in the making.
