Back To The Futon - Paul Kerensa

There can be little doubt that Paul isn't one of those comedians who writes his show on the train up to Edinburgh.
Back to the Futon, in the style of last years offering 26, relies on three basic components Paul's undoubted comic talent, his almost worrying fascination with TV and films and his laptop plus projector.
The jist of this years piece has him paying tribute to The Back to the Future trilogy, using stills from the movies, self-made film clips and a variety of props, and with the aid of an accommodating audience and a time machine, we are transported back to 1955, the year his parent met at the Fringe!! And he 'finds' then in the front row!!
Paul is a more cerebral comedian than most, that's not to say he can't crack gags 'cause he can and he obviously puts a lot of hard work into his show.
So to The Future. With a comedian  like Paul around, the future's bright, the future is Ginger.
