AAA Stand-Up

This show in essence is a showcase for three up and coming comedians to get the taste of performing in the Fringe without having to be perorming for an hour. The three acts on this years bill are Kevin Dewsbury, Christian Reilly and Zoe Lyons.

The compere on the night was Kevin and he did his job of warming up the audience while showcasing his own comic ability, and a good job he did too.

The first act, Zoe, did about twenty minutes or so and had some very funny material, a lot centred on her home town Brighton,. She was very confident and owned her space from her first entrance. This is a lady with a big future ahead of her.

A bit more of Kevin and then it was down to Christian and his guitar to close the show. In truth his guitar was only part of his act which had some good material mixed in with short bursts of song.

If these are part of the future of British comedy, then it's very bright indeed.
