A
few tears ago Tommy Tiernan was the winner of the much coveted
Perrier Award and although the years have passed, Tommy still
retains the cheeky chappy Irish humour and like the consummate professional
he is knows how to work with his audience as well as ever.
In
this venue in the round, it obviously is not possible for him to
face his audience but he prowls his territory like a big cat
delivering his material clearly even against the background
traffic noise and occasional emergency vehicle siren that plague
this big top venue.
I
have seen Tommy for a few years now, and he has never
disappointed, his material is always fresh and this certainly is
the case again this year.
So
catch Tommy if you can and get an hour of some of the finest 'craik'
that is available on the Fringe this year.
