K Amos has got this standing ovation thing sussed!
Get your audience to stand up and dance and sing 'Light my
fire' and they will remain standing applauding at the end.
To
be fair he was so good he would probably have had a standing
ovation anyway.
He has three or four characters he uses in his act and each
one sort of appears and disappears throughout the show. The night
I was in he connected with an American 'Harry Potter', an
Australian girl who lives 6 months in Aus and 6 in the UK and had
feelings for a man in a stripy vest.
He also received what he said was his best heckle ever,
when talking about his trip to South Africa. What was it? See the
show to find out as he said he would be adding it from now on!
