Non-Sexual Kissing
Cambridge Footlights 2003
I have been a follower of Footlights for some years now and in spite of a variety of style of shows that have been offered in that time there has always been the underlying quality of performance in keeping with their tradition.
Non-Sexual Kissing follows the tradition of a series of sketches that link into a story and are well directed and slickly performed by Tom Basaden, Jot Davies, Strefan Golaszewski Emily Howes and Lloyd Thomas.
They play a multitude of characters, which are well defined, but to me the humour was way, way to surreal. The material was certainly going down well with a large percentage of the audience, but to me although the show was technically very good it just wasn't my thing at all.
Venue;    Pleasance Dome  V23
Dates; 31st July to 25th August (not 5, 19)
